Time flies! It´s hard to believe I haven´t updated for four months already! Anyway, life has been busy- a short list of things that I have done in the time I haven´t written... Gotten mono, got told that my summer class that I was supposed to take to be able to get my minor in Latin American Studies was canceled, felt bummed about that for a while, got done being sick, went on vacation with my husband to New York with my brother and his wife, went to Niagara Falls, missed my kids like crazy, got home, spent tons of time with my unemployed husband and loved every minute of it, then he got a job the day before I started my student teaching... Now i am student teaching, still being the Primary President, pretending to keep some type of order to my house, and am trying to sell it as we have decided that we are going to move to Chile in December instead of February......... I have been so busy, but extremely happy...
The kids are getting big, Daniel just barely missed the cut off for kindergarten this year, but it´s okay, as we want him to start in Chile so he doesn´t feel confused about the differences in schools between here and there. He loves riding his bike and playing outside, and especially playing computer games with his daddy...
Alin is a story in and of herself! She is so strong-willed, and such a tomboy! It is a fight to get her to let me brush her hair, I´m thinking that when we get to Chile she can just chop it, so she doesn´t have to deal with it. She is Daniel´s shadow, and thinks that she should be able to do everything that he does. It is tiring, but I´m told that is how 3 year olds work!
Baby-makes-three, as my mother calls him, is getting so big! He is in the 90th percentile for his height, and the 45th for his weight, which is HUGE for us! He is such a sweet little guy, and is walking all over the place. He doesn´t have any words yet, but is getting there. I love my little Gabriel! It´s funny, he really looks like he should be part of my parent´s family, which is not exactly the case for the other two, they look more like my husband. Mom was commenting that when we get to Chile he will stand out quite a bit, but at the same time he´ll be big enough to stand up for himself!
Marcelo has made quite a bit more furniture, we are trying to sell it as we are not going to take anything with us, it´s way too expensive! We would love to make a couple thousand dollars off what he has done, and will just have to see what happens. He also started work again a few weeks ago, with a different company, and so far they adore him, it seems. I am glad, because he is a very good worker, and i like it when he is appreciated for his ability.
Anyway, that is all for now, as I have to translate it and then I´m off to bed!
!Cómo vuela el tiempo! Han sido mas de cuatro meses desde la última vez que escribí, y ha pasado mucho! Una lista breve de cosas que he hecho desde que escribí-- contraje mononucleosis, supe que habían cencellado mi clase que tenía que tomar en el verano para recibir mi mención en estudios latinoamericanos, sentí mal por ello un rato, sané del mono, fui de vacaciones a Nueva York con mi esposo querido y mi hermanoy su esposa, fui a las Cataratas de Niagara, extrañé a mis bebes como nunca antes, llegé a la casa, pasé un montón de tiempo con mi esposo quien estaba sin trabajo y me encantó cada minuto, y después él encontró un trabajo el día anteds de que yo empecé a hacer la práctica. Ahora estoy haciendo la práctica, sigo como presidenta de la primaria, intentendando de mantener alguna semejanza de orden a mi casita para poder tratar de venderla lo antes posible, ya que hemos decidido que vamos a mudarnos a Chile en deciembre en vez de febrero..... He estado tan ocupada, pero extremadamente feliz.
Los niños han estado creciendo como la mala hierba, Daniel no entró en el kinder por ser demasiado joven por unos cuantos días. Igual nos complace eso, porque así va a poder ingresar enChilesin confusiones en cuanto a las diferencias de las escuelas que hay entre aca y alla. Le encanta andar en su bici y jugar afuera, y aun mas pasar tiempo jugando juegos de video con su papá.
Alin es un cuento aparte! Ella tiene un caracter muy fuerte, y quiere ser igual a su hermano mayor. Es una pelea para que me deja tocarle el pelo para peinarla, y estoy pensando que al llegar a Chile voy a cortarselo, para no tener las broncas. Ella es la sombra misma de Daniel,y cree que debe poder hacer todo lo que él hace. Es cansadora, pero me han contado que asi son los niños de 3 añitos.
Con-el-bebe-son-tres, como lo llama mi madre, esta tan grande! Ya esta mas alto que el 90% de los niños de su edad, y mas gordo del 45%, lo cual es gigante para nosotros! Es tan tiernucho, y camina por todos lados. Aun no habla, pero ya pronto va a empezar. Me encanta mi bebe! Es raro, él parece mucho más a los de mi família, lo cual noe s asi con los otros dos, quienes se parecen mucho mas a mi esposo. Mi mamá estaba commentando que al llegar a Chile él va a sobresalir por su tamaño y blancura, pero por lo menos va a ser bastante grande como para poder defenderse!
Marcelo ha hecho muchos muebles mas, los cuales estamos tratando de vender siendo que no vamos a llevar nada con nosotros por el costo. Nos encantaría ganar unos cuantitos miles de dolares más con las cosas que ha hecho, pero veremos que pasa. Ël también empezó a trabajar hace unas semanitas atras con otra compañia de pintura, y hasta ahora le adoran. Me alegra, porque él es muy buen trabajador, y me gusta cuando lo aprecian por sus habilidades...
Bueno, eso es todo por ahora, asi que creo que me voy a acostar!
